A turbo manifold connects the engine’s exhaust ports to the turbine housing and determines the turbocharger’s mounting position. Flange type, runner design, material, wastegate placement and engine-bay clearance all need to suit the intended build.
Before ordering, confirm the cylinder-head flange, turbo inlet flange, wastegate configuration and turbo orientation. Allow room for the compressor cover, downpipe, oil drain, intake piping and surrounding components. Correct installation, bracing and heat management are important because the manifold supports weight while operating under high exhaust temperature.
